This seat has so many great features. Construction: Solid! It's not bulky, so it fits in any vehicle, leaving room to spare. My son, 2 years of age, can easily get in and out of the seat on his own. Simple design, functional and built like a tank. We haven't yet used it on a plane, but we have no worries. The price could be a bit better, but keep in mind you pay for what you get. You want a plastic seat, that takes up most of the back of the vehicle with clown cushions? Then buy those other guys. You want quality, simplicity and solid, reliably constructed safety? Purchase Diono. Do the extra research, ask those who use them and even call the company with questions. I did. And I couldn't be happier.

I bought this car seat thinking it was going to work out great but it is nearly impossible to get a secure installation using the seat belt! This is not good if your car doesn't have latch anchors! Very disappointed. Also you have to purchase an Adjuster to get the seat to fit in my car so the passenger or driver can sit comfortably! That should be included for the price I paid for this seat!

Great seat so far!

About Me First Time Parent
Purchased for a 3 year old I watch 3 days a week. I've only installed it front facing, the super latch system was very easy, I've also moved it several times with no issues. I do plan on using it for my son (currently 10 mo and still in his infant seat). It fits in the middle seat of my Pontiac with an infant seat on either side. Easy for the 3 yr old to get in and out of. Material seems very comfortable. Seems very durable, much better made than some other brands I've used.

Fits three in a row for a Toyota Corolla

Comments about Radian®R100 Stone:
We have eighteen month old twins and a three year old. We only have two Toyota Corollas. The back seat is very small. The twins grew out their baby carriers and needed something bigger. We bought three and installed all three in the back of our small car. We didn't have any problems. The directions were simple to understand. We love these seats. Yes they are very heavy. They are super slim and not all the extra bulk on the sides that takes up your entire back seat. We are very happy with our purchase and would definitely recommend these seats to anyone. I wish we had bought this to begin with four all three of the kids. We've been through six car seats with three kids including these three dionos we just bought makes nine. They are by far the best and can grow with a newborn until the child is out of booster seat.
Great product, that could use some minor tweaking

Comments about Radian R100:
I've had a Diono Radian R100 installed in my car for 6-8 months now for my 12mo old, both with and without the angle adjuster. I would recommend it for those who are either planning to rear facing for a long period of time, or for those who need something narrow. There are a few things I would love to be improved. 1. The belt path is so low and narrow that it is hard for me to squeeze my hand in there. It isn't much better forward facing and tends to cause the belt to bunch. 2. I'm not overly fond of the ratching harness tightening. Realistically every time I loosen or tighten I pull the harness on the back of the seat and then the adjuster strap. I do wish it was a smooth pull. 3. The chest clip is so wide that it pulls the harness off the shoulder of younger infants.
Really great value!
When my baby began to outgrow her infant car seat I wanted a seat that could continue to be rear facing and that would keep me from having to purchase more car seats. I purchased the R100 for less then many of the popular convertible car seats out there. I love that it will be safe for a full 10 years so I'm actually done buying car seats. I love that it is less bulky when rear facing then other car seats. The only down side is that it is heavy but it is totally worth it. This is the car seat I recommend every time. I also used it forward facing (with the 5 point harness) for my then 5 year old and he had plenty of space to grow so I know it will last my daughter until she can use an adult seat belt.
Expensive and WELL worth it!

I have my 2 year old and 4 year old in these. I LOVE that my 2 year old was able to be rear-facing for longer, he's a pretty hefty kid and this seat could handle it. And I LOVE that my 4 year old just moved into the last harness slot so he'll probably be harnessed till he's 5! The seats can be hard to install in our vehicle since the LATCH loops are so close to the base of the seat, and with both seats we noticed when buckling the boys in it was difficult to tighten their harnesses when the seats were brand new. We learned how to use them and now I can install one in a minute or so and harnessing the kids in isn't hard anymore. These seats are worth every penny we spent and I would no longer feel safe putting the kids in one of the big winged plastic seats. Great design, simplicity, comfort and peace of mind. :D
We got this carseat because we needed to get 3 carseats in a row and was told this was the one to get. They were right! This is a nice and slim seat to puzzle with other seats when trying to fit carseats into a tiny space. It can easily get kids to 3 to 4 years old rear facing and then will last more years forward facing. It's easy to install and buckle. The seat itself is pretty comfy and my son loves to ride in it.
A Seriously Sturdy Seat
from River Valley, Arkansas
A friend game me a radian with two years left before expiration so when it expired, I had no choice but to find a replacement. I was hesitant to shell out the hefty price of the radian and purchased a much cheaper seat. I.hated.it. I hated feeling like my child wasn't safe. It was awful. So, obviously, I then purchased a new radian like I should have done to begin with. We love this seat. It's comfortable, it's easy for my son to hook and unhook from, and I have peace of mind. Sometimes that costs a little more and for this guy, I'm happy to pay it:)
Best Car Seat ever!
from Ocala, FL
This is the best car seat we have ever used and will NOT buy another brand ever! LOVE the fact that it can be your only car seat from newborn to school aged booster! I love all the padding to protect the child giving them a nice comfy ride every where you go and so easy to install in your vehicle and all the safety features. We also love the colors it is available in so you can match your vehicle. When baby is happy everyone is happy! :)
absolutely LOVE this seat
from Ft Riley, Ks
We bought this seat for my son when he was 1. We had a small little 2012 accent hatchback, and also had 3 kids. My son needed an upgrade from the carrier and our middle child was still in a booster. This seat is narrow enough to fit small cars, yet still one of the safest seats with steal framing. It folds when and if needed and will literally be the last seat we buy my son. We now have a larger vehicle, and will still be getting another Diono for baby #4 I'm carrying now. We just haven't which one since there's different awesome choices. I ha e recommended this seat over and over again when people are in the market and make post on local sites. Thank you for making such an awesome seat.
